Hedgespeth Carlton, 63 years of age, died at Norton-Suburban Hospital in Louisville. She was a native of Green County and a retired accountant for the old Enro Shirt Factory in Louisville. She was a member of the Hunsinger Lane Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, James Carlton; a son, Scott Houston Whitehouse, Louisville; daughters, Allison Marie Back, Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Elizabeth Mae Branham, Louisville; sons-in-law, Lee Back and Freddie Branham; brother, Holland Hedgespeth, Greensburg; a sister, Nadine Clarke, Anderson, South Carolina; and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 23, at the Resthaven Funeral Home in Louisville with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park.
