Wilson, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Walker Wilson, was born in Green County, Kentucky, August 25, 1876, and departed this life January 5, 1951 at the age of 74 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana. He professed faith in Christ in the year 1916 and united with East Tenth Street Methodist Church, Indianapolis, Indiana, later moving his membership to the Greensburg Methodist Church around 3 years ago, where he remained a member until death. He was united in marriage to Miss Cora Alice Stephens, January 7, 1903 and to this union three children were born. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Cora Wilson, a daughter. Mrs. Carl C. Harvey, Charleston, West Virginia, and one son, Walter L. Wilson, Indianapolis, Indiana. One son, Francis Armel Wilson preceded him in death in 1916. He leaves two sisters. Mrs. Anna Pendleton and Mrs. Mattie Russell, both of Greensburg, and one brother, Mr. William R. Wilson of Canmer, Ky. He also leaves 5 grandchildren and a host o! f relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 P. M. at the Greensburg Methodist Church. Burial was in the Greensburg cemetery. Services were in charge of Rev. C. D. Owen, assisted by Rev. E. C. Sidle. Pallbearers were Joe Jones, Tommy Jones, Ben Burress, Tom Burress, Colby Cowherd, and Victor Henderson. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
