Rey Yarberry, 81, of Columbia, died at the Clinic Hospital, Thursday at 6:05. A former State Legislator and retired Chief of Detectives of the Louisville Police Department, he had been unconscious at the hospital since Monday afternoon, when he suffered a brain concusion and other injuries in a traffic accident at Columbia. He had lived at Columbia since leaving Louisville in 1934. Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Daisy Eubank Yarberry, who spent part of her girlhood days in Edmonton. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Stotts and Phelps Funeral Home and burial was in Columbia Cemetery. Obituaries of Green Co.
