He was 64 years, seven months, and 26 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Dover Chapel General Baptist Church in Louisville. He was also a member of the Kentucky Quarter Horse Association. He was also a veteran of the United States Army. He united in marriage to Ms. Geneva Viers on September 7, 1996, who survives. Mr. Thompson is also survived by one son and one daughter: Mark Thompson of Louisville and Marlesa Roberts of Louisville; two stepsons: Jim Estes of Bullitt County and Gary Estes of Shelby County; two stepdaughters: Pam Estes of Louisville and Donna Pixley of Borden, Indiana; three brothers: Grady Thompson of Greensburg, Garnett Thompson of Bowling Green, and Charles Thompson of Louisville; f! ive grandchildren: Sean Thompson, Jamie Lynn Thompson, Lauren Roberts of Louisville, Kayla Roberts, all of Louisville, and Lisa Pixley of Indiana; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Mr. Fred Browning Thompson were conducted Thursday, April 29, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Little Barren Cemetery. Rev. Randall Turner officiated. Pallbearers were Leo Thompson, Gerald Ford, Lewis Holmes, Frankie Young, Wayne Harrod, Daniel Viers and Bradley Thompson. Obituaries of Green Co.
