The dau of the late William Gore and Pernally Gupton Gore, she was born in Hart Co. 9 Sep 1870. She was a member of the Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church in Green Co. She was united in marriage to Mr. M.P. Vaughn in Sep 1892. He preceded her in death on 22 Jun 1952. To this union 5 sons and 5 daughters were born. Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Atha Neagle, Campbellsville, Mrs. Roy Vaughn, Tampa, Fl., 5 sons, William Vaughn, Campbellsville, Philmore Vaughn, Greensburg, Robert Vaughn, Mason City, Ill., Avery Vaughn, Louisville, Johnny Vaughn, St. Petersburg, Fl; and 9 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church by Rev. John Salmon and Rev. Henry. Burial was in the Curry Cem. In Green Co. Pallbearers were Otis Allen, Ross Milby, Simmons Pierce, Elmore Perkins, Ralph Tucker, Elwood Kessler. Honorary pallbea! rers were Gabe Taylor, Woodson Lewis, Henry Durham, George Winn, Lalie Blakeman, Willie Jones, Eugene Tucker, Colby Kessler, Herman Kessler and Austin Simmons.
