Whitlock, daughter of the late Mr. Tilford Oaks and Mrs. Ora Meadows Oaks, was born February 8, 1920, in Green County and departed this life on Saturday, October 9, 1999, at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. She was 80 years, eight months and one day of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the: Church of our Savior in Louisville. She was also a waitress for several years. She united in marriage to Mr. Milby A. Whitlock in 1941, who preceded her in death on October 4, 1991. To this union were born two daughters: Clementine Ann Luttrell of Louisville, and Norma Jean Whitlock, who preceded her in death. She is also survived by four grandchildren: James Allen Whitlock of Indiana, Joseph Grant Luttrell, Renda Jean Luttrell, and Eric Wayne Luttrell, all of Louisville. Four great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive. The funeral services for Mrs. Sarah I. Whitlock were conducted Mon! day, October 11, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Greasy Creek Cemetery. Rev. Charles Holmes officiated. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Family Fund. These can be made at the funeral home. Pallbearer's were Dak Meadows, Buster Morgan, James Allen Whitlock, Eric Wayne Luttrell, Bobby McKinney, Clayton Morgan and Joseph Grant Luttrel. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
