His head was crushed. He was enroute home from Greensburg when he lost control of his car about 2 miles from town on Highway 68 on Russell Creek Hill. Tucker had been employed on the Horse Cave tobacco market and had worked there that day. He was the son of Durwood Tucker and the late Mrs. Cecilia Curry Tucker and was born in Green Co. 13 Dec 1927. He was a member of Trammell Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his father, Durwood Tucker; 1 sister, Mrs. Lavora Robertson, Crail Hope; 1 brother, Leland Tucker, Pierce, his grandmother, Mrs. Henry Curry, Pierce. Funeral services were held Monday at Trammell Creek Baptist Church with Rev. R.G. Puckett in charge. Burial was in the Thompson Cem. Pallbearers were Roy Davis, Elmer Davis, Kenneth Thompson, B.J.
