She was a native of Taylor County born here December 13, 1886 the daughter of the late Wayman and Mary Elizabeth Harding St. Clair. Mrs. Skaggs was a resident of Route 1, Campbellsville, and a member of the Green River Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include one son: Glenn Skaggs of Orrville, Ohio; one daughter: Mrs. Jewell Ratcliff of Route 1, Campbellsville; one brother: Gordon St. Clair of Detroit, Michigan; five grandchildren and six great-grand children. One son, Clarence Ray Skaggs preceded his mother in death. Funeral services were held at Lyon Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 7, with Rev. David Freshour of the Robinson Creek Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in the Green River Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Chambers.
