He was 76 years, 11 months and four days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Sulphur Well United Methodist Church. He united in marriage to Miss Dorothy Curry in January of 1939, who preceded him in death on April 28,1989. To this union were born four daughters and five-sons: Barbara Pruitt of Greensburg, Jessie Curry of Indiana, Judy Graham of Edmonton, Edward Curry of Sulphur Well, Danny Curry of Greensburg, Roy Curry of Greensburg, Bonnie Maggard of Louisville, and Lewis Curry of Indiana. He was preceded in death by: Sarah Rogers on March 21, 1996. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Steven Cur! ry, on March 22, 1997. The funeral services were conducted Wednesday, May 13, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Union Chapel Cemetery. Rev, Mickey Pruitt and Rev. Gary Hardin officiated. Pallbearers were Robert Granville Edwards, Mitchell Curry, Harry Young, Daniel Curry, Junior Jessie and Dennis Caffee. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
