R. Thompson, 70, was found dead on his farm Jun 22. The cause was given as a heart attack, He had been in ill health for some time. Thompson had left the house to plow corn and when the team came in without him members of the family started searching for him. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in the Little Barren Church with burial in the family cemetery on the Thompson farm. Thompson who was a well known in this area as a stock dealer, He was first married to Miss Lillie Belle Morgan who died in 1911, A daughter, Mrs. Ollie Jones, Chicago, Ill. survives of this union. He then married Miss Ida L. Brown who survives, Also surviving are a son, Henry Earl Thompson, Liletown a daughter Miss Christine Thompson, Crawfordsville, Ind., and seven grandchildren.
