Reverend V. A. Jones and Reverend C. D. Owen conducted the services. Wilkerson, the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. John Wilkerson, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mary Francis Murrah, January 1, 1950. He was born in Green County August 26, 1870 and professed faith in Christ early in life. He united in marriage to Miss Mary Elizabeth Beard in 1901 and to this union 8 children were born. Surviving are his wife, two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Mary Francis Murrah, Greensburg, Mrs. Audrey Gowen, Louisville, and Ulys and Oscar, Louisville. He also leaves one sister and one brother, Mrs. I. W. Sullivan, Green County, and Ras Wilkerson, Adair County, and 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
