She had been in declining health for some time. She was born in Adair County, December 15, 1886, and was the daughter of Ace Rogers and Mrs. Mary Jane Rogers. She was a member of the Pickett Chapel Methodist Church. She was united in marriage to George Whitehead. Surviving besides her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Koween, Bowling Green; three sons, Dallis Pickett. Columbia; George Rollin Pickett, Indianapolis Ind.; Sylvester Rogers, Jeffersonville. Ind.; four brothers, Finis, John E; and W. T. Rogers, all of Illinois, and Simon Rogers, of Campbellsville. Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m. Sunday at the Bethlehem Baptist Church by Rev. Lee Pendleton. Burial was in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were L. C. Estes, Odell Estes, John England, Leonard Matney. Elroy Whitehead, and George Lewis Haynes. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
