He was 77 years, five months and 14 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the South Greensburg Baptist Church where he also served as a deacon. Mr. Perkins was a member of the Army, where he served in the Korean War and World War II. He was owner of Perk's Barber Shop in Greensburg, where he worked for 34 years. Mr. Perkins was an active member in the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM, the Rod Lowe Post #124 American Legion, the Taylor County Disabled American Veterans Chapter #70, and the Greensburg Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5813. He united in marriage to Miss Maxine Lena Landis on December 4, 1965, who preceded him in death on November 8, 1988. He is survived by one stepdaughter: Connie Sue Pru! itt, and her husband, Kenneth, of Louisville. Additional survivors include two brothers: Carl Perkins of Greensburg and Rual T. Perkins of Louisville; and one sister: Audrey Perkins of Louisville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother: Earl Garvis Perkins in 1940. The funeral services for Mr. Geryl Lee Perkins were conducted Saturday, May 22, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Green County Memorial Gardens. Rev. Daryl Jessie, Rev.
