He was a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Melinda Bishop Stearman; a son, Joshua Stearman of Greensburg; his mother, Ruby Stearman of Greensburg; his grandmother, Dorothy Buley of Elizabeth town, and a sister, Barbara Cox of Greensburg. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 20, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville. Burial followed in the Mt. Sherman Cemetery. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
