Strader, age 63, of Maple Avenue, Greensburg, died Saturday, May 8, 1999, at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital after an illness. He was the son of the late Gather Strader and Pauline Strader of Greensburg, who survives her son. He was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church and a retired Methodist minister, having pastored churches in the area for over 30 years and a retired employee of the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a sister in infancy, Deloris Ruth Strader. He is survived by his wife, Ann Thompson Strader; two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Patti Strader and Ricky and Vicki Strader, all of Campbellsville. Three grandchildren, Haley, Krystal and Jordan Strader also survive along with several other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services for Reverend W.D. Strader were held Monday, May 10, at the Greensburg United Methodist Church with burial in the Campbellsville Memoria! l Gardens. Officiants were Rev. Dale Curry, Rev. Gleason Bloyd, Rev, Travis Keltner, Rev. Russell Janes, Judy Shuffett and Rev. George P. Lee III. Active pallbearers were Darrell Miller, Cameron Shuffett, Scott Shuffett, Howard Moore, Henry Shuffett and Jackie Bagby. Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Rogers, Chuckie Rogers, Jirnmie Downey, Harold Farrow, Homer Simpson and Bill Lile. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
