He was born in Green County on March 8,1936, to the late Clellan Rogers and Mamie Murrell Rogers. He is survived by two brothers, Howard Rogers and James Rogers, of Louisville; three sisters, Virginia Smith and Ruby McDonough of Louisville, and Mary Lois Bartley of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Friday, February 6, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home with burial in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Rev. Dale Curry officiated over the service with music provided by Mrs. Ann Cowherd. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
