Sloan, Jr., son of Mrs. Brenda Berry Beams, was born May 12, 1963, in Taylor County and departed this life on Monday, May 5, 1997, at his residence in Greensburg. He was 33 years, 11 months and seven days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church of the Nolynn Association. He was an employee of the Chapman's Wrecker Service of Nashville, where he worked as a wrecker driver. He is also survived by his step-father: Carl Beams of Greensburg; his grandmother: Mrs. Wealthy Stearman of Greensburg; one sister: Janet Gorin of Greensburg; two stepbrothers: Wesley Beams and Ricky Beams, both of Louisville, and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Mr. Kenneth H. Sloan, Jr., were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church of the Nolynn Association Cemetery. Rev. Twyman Davis and Rev. Tony Hibba! rd officiated. Pallbearers were Tony Judd, Harlan Shores, Terry Chapman, Glen Judd, Ramon Hollins and Lee Reynolds. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
