He was 68 years, 10 months and four days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ladies Chapel United Methodist Church. Mr. Pickett was a veteran of the Korean War, where he served in the United States Army. He united in marriage to Miss Edith Meadows on July 12,1952, who survives. To this union were born three sons: Gordon Wayne Pickett of Greensburg, Stephen Dale Pickett of Greensburg, and Alan Keith Pickett of Louisville. He is also survived by three sisters: Dorothy Bonta, Audrey Akin and Myrtle Whitlock, all of Greensburg; five grandchildren: Daniel, Ryan, Katie, Chelsea and Natasha Pickett; one step-grandchildren: Tara Burks: and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Mr! . Kenneth Gordon Pickett were conducted Friday, June 12, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Ladies Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Robert Morris and Rev. Carlos Coop officiated. Active pallbearers were Alan Pickett, Doyce Jones, Kirby Vance, Bobby McKinney, George Vance, Allen Coffey, Bobby McFelia and Ernest Simpson. Honorary pallbearers were Daniel Pickett, Marion Whit-lock, Ryan Pickett, Hayden Pickett, Indus Pickett and Roger Pickett. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
