She was 51 years, five months and nine days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ at Trammell Creek Baptist Church in 1979 and united with Bethlehem Baptist Church in 1990. She united in marriage to Mr. William H. Wheeler on December 5, 1966, who preceded her in death on August 6, 1980. She later united in marriage to Mr. James Ray on June 2, 1990, who survives and resides in Greensburg. Mrs. Ray is also survived by four children: Libby Ann Messer of North Vernon, Indiana, Billie Jo Colvin of Campbellsville, Melinda Gail Reynolds of Greensburg, and Joseph Ray Reynolds of Greensburg; three step-children: Mary Ann Ray, Patsy Cox and Jerry Ray, all of Greensburg; five sisters and, eight brothers: Mary E. Houchin, Beaver! Dam, Lydia Osborne and Doris Jean Riley both of Owensboro, Wanda S. Froelich, Lewisport, Dora Ann Riley, Robert W. Blake and James E. Blake, all of Cloverport, Joe Thomas Blake, Charleston, Illinois, Charles W. Blake and George C. Blake, both of Cannelton, Tennessee, Ronald L. Blake, Ashmore, Illinois, David W. Blake and John E. Blake, both of Tell City, Indiana; three grandchildren four step-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral for Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Ray was conducted Tuesday, April 13, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Hudson Cemetery. Rev. Anna Overstreet officiated.
