Mr. Penick was apparently feeling as well as usual Wednesday and attended a meeting of the Green County Sportsmen's Club that night in the basement of the Deposit Bank here. He lived on the farm of Dr. J. M. Dishman in the Gabe section. He became ill Thursday morning while doing some work on the farm and was on his way here to see a doctor when he died. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Antle Penick; a daughter. Mrs. Charles Dobson of Summersville; two sons, Randal Penick of Summersville, and Pfc. Marvin Lewis Penick with the U. S. Army on Okinawa; his mother, Mrs. Dorothy May Penick, Louisville; two brothers, Robert Eugene Penick and Virgil Penick, both of Louisville; three sisters, Mrs. Frances Holman, El Paso, Texas, Mrs. Harvey Antle and Mrs. Jack Perkins, both of Green County. At press time funeral arrangements had no! t been made. The body will be at McKinney Funeral Home until time of the funeral. Obituaries of Green Co.
