Penick, formerly of Green County, died at his home in Pleasant Plains, IL., Feb. 15. He was born October 6, 1878 in Green County, the son of Mr. and .Mrs. John B. Penick, Summersville. In 1907 he was married to Grace Duff, and to this union five children were born: Erme Brown, Pleasant Plains, IL, Elsie Moore, Tulsa, IL., Lester Penick, Illinois, Hallie Alrich, Bonnie, IL., John Albert Penick, Springfield, IL., and 17 grandchildren, 9 nieces and 10 nephews. Also surviving are two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Robert Stearman, Campbellsville, Miss Alberta Penick, Summersville, and Joe Penick, Summersville.
