Norris and Mrs. Birdie Boston, was born March 23,1914, in Green County and departed this life on Friday, December 18, 1998, at the Medco Nursing Facility in Campbellsville. She was 84 years, eight months and 25 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Maple Hill United Methodist Church. She united in marriage to Mr. Gore Hays Parson on May 13, 1933, who preceded her in death on April 12, 1998. To this union were born three daughters and two sons: Lois Kendall, Junior Ray Parson and Wayne Parson, all of Campbellsville. She was preceded in death by Gladys Lee Parson and Marcella Parson. She is also survived by one son-in-law and two daughters in-law: Jessie Kendall, Faye Parson and Dorothy Parson, all of Campbellsville; seven grand children, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grand-child, six step-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren, two step-great-great-grandc! hildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Mrs. Mazetta Norris Parson were conducted Monday, December 21 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Rev. James Huff and Deacon Charles Wilson officiated. Pallbearers were Chunk Clark, Larry Clark, Harry Kessler, Gearon Simpson, Richard Clark, Thomas Murray and, H.C. Gore. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
