Blakeman and Mrs. Ada May Pierce Blakeman, was born June 11, 1921, in Green County and departed this life on Saturday, October 10, 1998, at the T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow. She was 77 years, three months, and 30 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Greensburg Order of the Eastern Star 232, Greensburg-Green County Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, and Greensburg American Legion Rod Lowe Post 124 Ladies Auxiliary. She united in marriage to Richard Shuffett on January 16, 1948, who survives. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Mrs. Clementine Blakeman Shuffett were conducted Monday, October 12, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Greensburg Cemetery. ! Rev. Ty Clenney officiated. Active pallbearers were Barney Joe Shuffett, Joe G. Shuffett, Henry W. Shuffett, Sammy Sullivan, Montie Sullivan, Eugene Coffey and Barry Blakeman.
