He was 70 years, six months and 28 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Fry Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Shelby, Ohio, Masonic Lodge #350 F&AM. He also had an operator engineering certificate. He united in marriage to Miss Marilyn Lewis on July 14, 1949, who survives. He is also survived by one daughter, Constance "Connie" Marie Rose of Summersville; five sisters and two brothers: Cymbelline Meadows, Clemontene Thompson, Addalene Judd, Windlene Davis, all of Greensburg, Gearldene Bennett of Columbia, Davis Rose and Jackie Rose, both of Greensburg; one brother-in-law: Estes Lewis, Jr. of Shelby, Ohio, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one ! sister: Magdelene Curry. The funeral services for Mr Oscar Rose, Jr., were conduced Sunday, April 26, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Fry Cemetery Rev. Leslie Jewell and Rev. Cary Duckett officiated. Pallbearers were Bobby Gene Curry, Dennis Curry, Lane Judd, Ricky Davis, Jared Rose, Woody Blankenship, Boyd Curry, Morris W. Wright, Daryl Judd, Michael Bennett, Jamie Wade and Mike Tucker. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
