He was 84 years, 11 months and 20 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Taylors Chapel United Methodist Church. He united in marriage to Miss Anna Nelson on March 8, 1941, who preceded him in death on January 17,1991. To this union were born two daughters and one son: Rita Burris of Greensburg and Wanda Fisher of Greensburg. He was preceded in death by Donald Skaggs in 1982. He is also survived by two brothers: Garlen Skaggs of Greensburg and Ernest Brown Skaggs of Greensburg; eight grandchildren: Sandra Burris Garrett of Georgetown, Angie Burris of Lexington, Beth Burris Sprowles of Campbellsville Heather Burris of Columbia, Todd Fisher of Greensburg, Becky Fisher Keeton of Campbe! llsville, Deborah Skaggs Scott of Summersville, and Troy Skaggs of Summersville; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Mr. William Boyce Skaggs were conducted Friday, September 11 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Taylors Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Tammy Smith officiated. Pallbearers were Todd Fisher, John Scott, Brent Garrett, Michael Price, David Keeton, Troy Skaggs and Craig Sprowles. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
