The accident occurred about ten miles west of Hazard. The bus was owned by the Shortway Bus Company of Somerset and driven by Titus Jessee, Edmonton. The woman was identified as Mrs. Golden Roberts, a passenger in the taxi, and the mother of four children. Her husband, an employee of the State Highway Department, suffered serious head injuries. Also injured seriously was the driver of the cab. The other injured persons were treated at nearby hospitals. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
