He had been under a doctor's care for some time. A Methodist minister, he and his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Poynter Salmon, had been a team that has done much singing and preaching the gospel and had visited Green County on several occasions. A son of the late H. R. Salmon and Mrs. Lillie Yates Salmon, he was a native of Metcalfe County. Besides his wife he is survived by his mother; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Harris of Cork; Mrs. Ruby Bunch and Mrs. Katherine Green, Barren County, and a brother, Rev. John Salmon. Funeral services were held at the Tabernacle at Glasgow, Monday afternoon and burial was in the Glasgow Cemetery. Obituaries of Green Co.
