Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 15 at the Mt. Sherman Holiness Church. Services were conducted by Rev. W A. Blevins, Lebanon, and Rev. Rex Garr, Shepherdsville. She was born March 11, 1920, the daughter of Major and Nora Skaggs and joined the Liberty Church early in life. Her mother died when she was an infant and she was cared for by her grandmother. Later she was taken to an orphan's home. Fourteen years ago her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Skaggs took her into their home where she remained until her death. Pallbearers were Garrett Thompson, W. E. Skaggs, Walter Skaggs, David Durbin, Dutch Warren and Tom Thompson. Obituaries of Green Co.
