She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She united in marriage to Wilburn Harris on December 27, 1937. He preceded her in death on March 12, 2003. She was also preceded in death by three sons and one daughter, Marvin Harris, Tommy Harris, Virgil Lee Harris, and Mary Louise Harris; twelve children in infancy; one granddaughter, Phyllis Jean Harris Coffey; and two brothers and three sisters, Ben Whitlock, Arvin Ray Whitlock, Bessie Thompson, Artie Mae Underwood, and Flora Thompson. Survivors include six sons and one daughter, George Ray Harris of Illinois, Robert "Blueboy" Harris, Seibert Harris, Raymond "Spot" Harris, Melvin "Dick" Harris, and Willard "Hank" Harris, all of Campbellsville, and Annette Sharp, Scottsville; two grandchildren she raised, Patric! ia Montgomery and Kelly Harris, both of Campbellsville; 23 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jesse Harris, Tilly Nelson, and Hallie Harris, all of Campbellsville; and several nieces, nephews, many other relatives, and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Otis C. Skaggs. Burial in Mt. Washington Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Denny Harris, Gary Harris, Hank "Little Hank" Harris, Jr., Jake Harris, Jason Harris, Jody Harris, Johnny Harris, Kelly Harris, Phillip Harris, Tony Harris, and Paul Sturgis.
