Son of the late Woodson Lewis Dobson and Lucy Lee Akin Dobson, he was born on May 22, 1936, in Green County. He was of the Baptist faith. He was married to Reba Bryant Dobson, who survives. Survivors also include a son, Michael Eugene Dobson of Louisville, Ky.; a daughter, Linda Gail Kilburne-Meador of Louisville; four stepsons, Bobby Montgomery and Jeff Montgomery, both of Louisville, Michael Montgomery of Summersville, Ky., and Joel Montgomery of Greensburg; two stepdaughters, Vickie Maier and Laura Montgomery, both of Summersville; a brother, Lewis Dobson of Summersville; three sisters, Eunice Lee of Campbellsville, Ruby Hampton of North Carolina and Ruth Miller of Louisville; three grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and six step-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters,! Laurene Judd, Mable Milby and Joyce Formby. Funeral was Monday, Jan. 28 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg. The Rev. Eudell Stilts officiated. Burial was in Wilson Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lewis Dobson, Edward Milby, Joel Montgomery, Ian Montgomery, Bobby Montgomery and Kelly Judd.
