Vance, Bowling Green, a native of Green County, son of the late Vora and Gertrude Larimore Vance, was born on April 16, 1938 in Green County and departed this life on Monday, February 18 at his home. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Cave Mill Baptist Church. He was retired from General Motors. He loved house boating and spending time with his family. He was also preceded in death by a brother and sister, Billy Joe Vance and Joyce Vance. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Vance, Bowling Green; two daughters and a son-in-law, Teresa & Kevin Casey, Louisville, and Tracy Vance, Bowling Green; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Nancy Milby, Summersville, and Mary Lou & Jimmy Howard and Janie & Jimmy Kessler, all of Greensburg; four grandchildren, Ryan Casey, Logan Casey, Analucia Casey and Dylan Callagghan; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2008 at J.C. Kirby ! & Son Lovers Lane Chapel in Bowling Green. The family chose cremation. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society, Greenwood Courtyard, 2425 Scottsville Road, Suite 123, Bowling Green, KY 42104-4457.
