Son of the late Lewis Adams and Della Bagby Rogers, he was born on Nov. 27, 1930 in Houston, Texas. He was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church in Newt, Ky. He was married to Ethel Adams, who survives. Survivors also include three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Harold and Sharon Annette Adams of Mt. Sherman, Ky., Jerry Wayne and Sandra Adams of Summersville, Ky., and Terry Glenn and Betty Adams of Greensburg; three daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda Curry and Glen Matney and Brenda Kay and Bruce Hunt, all of Greensburg, and Betty L. And Buddy Killensworth of Elizabethtown, Ky.; a brother, Olin Morgan of Adair County, Ky.; a sister, Ortella Reynolds of Greensburg; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, Carlos Adams and Leo Adams Jr.; a brother, Eugene Russell; ! and his stepfather, Roy Rogers. Funeral was Friday, Feb. 15 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral home in Greensburg. The Rev. Mickey Pruitt, Elder Rueal Boils and the Rev. Dan Perkins officiated. Burial was in Green County Memory Garden in Summersville. Pallbearers were Steven Milby, Calvin Curry, Carlos Curry, Ronnie Jeffries, Sean Wright, Elton Jeffries, Delton Jeffries and Sean Carter. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Colvin, David Hodges, Danny Hodges, C.R. Mears, John Lipps and Kenny Ray Hodges. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
