Burial was in Brookside Cemetery at Campbellsville. Rev. D. C. Bryant, Rev. D. L. Druin and Rev. T. S. Curry were in charge of the services. Mr. Sharp, who lived at Black Gnat, on route four, died of a heart attack on Friday, November 6th at 18:30 a. .m. at his home. Born March 12, 1884 in Green County, he was the son of Elmore Sharp and Rosa Black Sharp. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty Miller Sharp; one daughter, Mrs. Thurmon Wilcoxson of Taylor County; a Foster son, James Morrison of Japan; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; three brothers; Jorden Sharp, Muskegon, Michigan; Claude Sharp, Detroit, Michigan; and George Sharp, Greensburg; four sisters, Mrs. Albert Scholten, Mrs. Hortense Blevins and Mrs. Mary Morrison, all of Muskegan, and Mrs. Willia McGinnis of Detroit, Mich. He had been a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church for! over forty years and served as a deacon for the past eight years. Active pallbearers were Frank Altman, Ray Goff, Olie Larimore, Clifford Blakeman, Mitchell Patterson and Ralph Sharp. Honorary pallbearers were Curtis Nunn, W. W. Bailey, Walter Marcum, Selby Mitchell, Bob Hinton, James Gore, Harry Gilpin, Robert Money, Ebb Larimore, Frank Jones, Rev. Bailey, Guy Smith, Chatman Wilcoxson and Lonnie Williams.
