Milby, son of the late Mr. Nearse Milby and Mrs. Sarah Lee Madden Milby, was born October 14, 1914, in Green County and departed this life on Thursday, June 15, 1995, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Louisville. He was 80 years, eight months and one day of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church. He was also a veteran of World War II, where he served in the United States Air Force. He is survived by five brothers: Arvin Milby of Georgetown, Henry Milby of Greensburg, Boyce P. Milby of Summersville, James Roy Milby of Summersville, and Freeman Milby of Louisville; six sisters: Gladys Marr of Greensburg, Carrie Milby of Louisville, Sarah Loyall of Louisville, Dixie Marcum of Summersville, Alva Morrison of Summersville, and Opal Campbell of Campbellsville; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Mr. Grady F. Milby were conducted at 1:00 p.m! . Sunday, June 18, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the N.C. Milby Cemetery. Rev. Irvin Milby, Jr., officiated. Pallbearers were Dowen Marr, Charles Buck Milby, Wayne Morrison, Dennis Milby, Ranny Milby, Carlos Lee Milby, Jeff Campbell, Jr., and Boyce Philip Milby, Jr. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
