He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He is survived by four sisters: Mrs. Mary Lewis, Greensburg; Mrs. Mattie Vaughn, Hodgenville; Mrs. Maude Slack, Elizabethtown; and Mrs. Stella Graham, Louisville. Funeral services were conducted at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Friday, September 8, 1972 with burial in the Perkins Cemetery. Rev. Milton Judd officiated. Pallbearers were Claude Shofner, Howard Curry, Roman Elmore, Jessie Ward, George A. Bloyd, and Delbert Bloyd. Obituaries of Green Co.
