M. March 18, 1945 at the age of 63 years, 7 months and 18 days. He was the son of John Richard and Martha Jane [Hood] Paxton. He was united in holy wedlock to Cleo Shirrell Jan 13, 1907. To this union five children were born, Mrs. Victoria Kreke, Everett and Aubrey of Greensburg, Theodore of Jeffersonville, Ind., and Pfc. Arthur A. Paxton who is somewhere in France. He professed faith in Christ in 1922 at the Bethlehem Church. He was a good neighbor and was liked by all. He leaves his wife, five children, one sister, Mrs. H. C. Moore, two grandchildren, seventeen nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends to mourn his going. Funeral services were conducted at the Bethlehem Church by Rev. V. A. Jones, assisted by Rev. J. W. Rayburn of Glasgow. Pallbearers were Shreve Loy, Marshall Paxton, Vaughn Coffey, Willie V. Shirrell, Lucian Shuffett, Lucian Squires. Obituaries of Green Co.
