She made a profession of faith at the age of 15, and at the time of her been a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church for many years. She was united in marriage to Benjamin William Penick on 9 Nov 1917. He preceded her in death in 1948. She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. W.E. Nave and Mrs. Henry Cox of Louisville, Kentucky; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ann Moss of Washington, D.C. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 1977 at the Foster-Jones Funeral Home with the Rev. James H. Loy and the and the Rev. James E. Evans officiating. Burial was in the Greensburg Cem. Pallbearers were Omar Shuffett, Avery Shuffett, Carl Wilcoxson, Boyce Hudson, Dr. J.W. Miller and Russell Phillips. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
