Perkins, 213 Wampum Ave., Louisville, age 59 died 30 Sep 1980 at University Hospital, Louisville, after an illness of 10 days. Perkins was born in Green Co. 22 Aug 1921, the son of the late Charles Lee and Lana Carter Perkins. He had lived in Louisville for the past 30 years and was employed as an electrician. He wis survived by a dau, Connie Perkins, Donansburg; and 5 sons: Bobby and Billy, Perkins, Donansburg, David Perkins, Buffalo, Morris Perkins, Sonora, and Robert Perkins, Lexington. A sister, Mrs. Marie Bloyd, Greensburg, and 7 grandchildren also survive. His funeral was Thurs, 2 Oct at Foster Jones Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Janes officiating. Burial was in Neagle Cem. Pallbearers were: Carl Perkins, Geryl Perkins, Gearen Simpson, Vurlis Bloyd, Glenn Tucker and Earl Clark. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
