He was the son of Mrs. Vera Turpin Parson and the late Charlie Parson of Columbia. He was a painter and veteran of worm War Two and was 61 years of age. Besides his mother he is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Barbara Ann Salsman of Louisville, Mrs. Darline Bishop and Mrs. Jackie Dobson of Greensburg; and three grandchildren. Bro. Raymond Martin officiated at 10:00 a.m. at Grissom-Maupin-Heskamp Funeral Home with interment in the Columbia City Cemetery. The pallbearers were Edgar Troutman, Joe Glowacki, Fred Troutman, J. R.
