Rev. Earnest Dixon will be in charge Of services, assisted by Rev. Claude Squires and Rev. Earnest Denton. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The son of the late Frank Dohoney and Mrs. Molly Murrell Dohoney. he was born in Adair County April 12, 1875. He professed faith in Christ early in life and. united with the Summer Shade Methodist Church, later moving his membership to Cane Valley Christian Church. He was united in marriage to Miss Sally Squires, May 16, 1901. She preceded him in death March 15, 1928. To this union one daughter and two sons were born. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Willie Thomas; one son Ewell Dohoney. He was later united in marriage to Miss Cecil Farris who survives. He is also survived by. two stepdaughters, Mrs. Lucian Shuff! ett, and Mrs. Sam Coffey; one brother, Stone Wall Dohoney; one sister, Mrs. Montry Pickett; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be William Thomas, Welby Thomas, Stanley Thomas, Tonny Dohoney, Will Ed Shuffett, and James Robert Shuffett. Honorary pallbearers: Clarence Edwards, Hobson Posey, Luther Judd, O. H. Coffey, William Lobb, Ivan Thompson, Raymon Wilcoxson, Clyde Thomas, Earl Stults and Jean Vanarsdale. Obituaries of Green Co.
