Cox a former teacher in Green County Schools who was employed by the State Highway Department, was fatally injured last week when he lost control of a road roller which he was operating and it turned over just outside of Columbia on the Burkesville highway. Cheatham died 45 minutes later in an ambulance near Gradyville en route to the Glasgow hospital. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Chatham of the Milltown community and a member of the Christian Church. He is survived by his parents; wife, Mrs. Maxie Allison Cheatham; one daughter, Karen Sue; five brothers, Willard and Davis Cheatham of Columbia; Leonard, Joe, and Maurice Cheatham of Milltown; six; sisters, Mrs. Paul Callison, Mrs. Hailey Neagle of Columbia, Mrs. James S.
