She was born in Green Co. April 28, 1897, the daughter of Mrs. Mary Mudd, Greensburg and the late Mr. [Ellis Davis] Mudd. Mrs. Lingle attended Spencerian Business College and was employed for many years at the Green County Health Department. She was a member of the Greensburg Methodist Church. Besides her mother she is survived by two sons: Harold Anderson, Greensburg and William B. Lingle of Louisville; three brothers: William Mudd, Campbellsville, John Mudd, Chicago, Illinois and David Mudd of Greensburg; three sisters: Mrs. Betty Smith, Owensboro, Mrs. Mattie Durham, Campbellsville and Mrs. Beulah Ingram of Greensburg and two grandsons. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, at the Foster Jones Funeral Home with burial at the Greensburg Cemetery. Rev. Jack Vibbert and Rev. V. A. Jones officiated.
