He is survived by his wife; Catherine; 1 daughter, Mrs. Charline Richards, of Eaton, Ohio; 1 brother, Harley of Eaton, Ohio. Funeral services were held on Friday at the convenience of the family at the Barnes Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Sorrell officiating. Burial was in the Mound Hill Union Cemetery. She was 82 years, four months, and 30 days of age. She was united in marriage to Thomas Chester Herbert on June 20, 1923; he preceded her in death on July 13, 1972. To this union were born three daughters, and one son: Mrs. Mary Beighley, Hobbs, New Mexico; Mrs. Virginia Gardner, Rosewell, Georgia; Mrs. George (Anne) Frank, Greensburg; and John Herbert, Phoenix, Arizona. Twenty grandchildren and three great-grandchildren survive, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Cora Bell Hedgespeth 86 died at the Ideal Nursing Home Sarasota, Florida; Thursday, Jun 13 after suffering a stroke. Her brother, David Edward Mitchell, 81, died Friday, June 14 a the home of his son, James J. Mitchell, Chicago, IL., shortly after receiving news of his sister's death. Mitchell and Mrs. Hedgespeth lived together here for many years until their farm home burned about two years ago. Mitchell was a retired farmer and his sister was a retired rural school teacher. Both were natives of Donansburg. Mrs. Hedgespeth was a member of the Old Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Her husband, Rufus Hedgespeth, preceded her in death in 1921. She is survived by five daughters; Mrs. Herman Jackson, Decatur, IL., Miss Mattie Hedgespeth, Arlington, New Jersey, Mrs. James R. Noe, Sarasota, Fla., Mrs. Mable Vance, Louisville, and Mrs. Claude Courtney, Ray! mondsville, Mo. four sons: W. B. Hedgespeth, Atlanta, Ga., C E. Hedgespeth, Sarasota, Fla., Henry M. Hedgespeth and W. G. Hedgespeth, Louisville; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Claudia Vaughn, July 6, 1945, being 91 years old. She was, before her marriage, Miss Josie Perry, daughter of Joseph Perry. On Dec. 12, 1872, she was united in marriage to Hon. Jeff Henry who, for about 55 years was one of the leading lawyers of the State. Mrs. Henry united with Greensburg Presbyterian church in 1899 having formerly been a member of Temperance Cumberland Presbyterian church. Mrs. Henry leaves one daughter, Mrs. Claudia Vaughn, three grandchildren, Milton A. Vaughn, Ralph E. Vaughn, and Mrs. Josephine Hutcheson, all of Greensburg. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, three of whom are the children of her grandson, Henry Vaughn who died several years ago, three are the children of her grandson, Milton A. Vaughn, three are the children of her grandson, Ralph E. Vaughn, and two are the children of her grandd! aughter, Mrs. Josephine Hutcheson. She leaves one great-grandchild, a son of Buckner Vaughn who is a son of Milton A. Vaughn. Mrs. Henry lived an exemplary life. Her friends were as numerous as her acquaintances. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon, July 8, 1945, at the Greensburg Presbyterian church, the pastor of the church, Rev. Floyd Loperfido, being in charge assisted by Rev. V. A. Jones. Hedgespeth, died suddenly of a heart attack at her home near Gabe. Mrs. Hedgespeth apparently in the best of health had shortly after the noon meal at 12:30 gone to the poultry yard to look after some small chickens. She was followed shortly by her two small daughters, Nadine and Jessie who found her face down on the ground. Death apparently had been instantaneous. She was in Greensburg on the preceding day in the highest of spirits and on the day of her death had gone about her household duties as usual. She was a good wife, a devoted mother and her loving kindness and pleasing personality will be sadly missed by her immediate family, and a host of relatives and friends. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters and one son, Miss Ava Hedgespeth, assistant to the Cashie! r at The Peoples Bank, Greensburg; Nadine and Jessie who were at home and one son, Holland Hedgespeth who is expecting Army duty soon; sisters, Mrs. C. Bronston Bale, Dayton, Ohio., and three brothers, Ira and Barnett Wright, Hudgins, and Vernon, Wright, Magnolia. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Aetna Grove, (Grissom) Church of which she was a member, by the Rev. Noble Cottrell. Burial was in the church cemetery. Active pall bearers were Loy Sidebottom, Willie Sidebottom, Doyle Graham, Earl Henderson, Henry Williams and Hobert Wright. He was 71 years three months and 18 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church at the time of his death. He united in marriage to Miss Myrtle Sullivan January 18, 1925 who survives. To this union were born two daughters: Mrs. Betty Loy and Mrs. Margie Caven, both of Greensburg. Mr. Henderson is also survived by two sisters: Mrs. Grace Akin and Mrs. Eula Gentry, both of Greensburg; four grandchildren: Craig Chaudoin, Houston, Texas; Rhonda Chaudoin, Bowling Green; Kristy Chaudoin, Greensburg and Steve Caven, Greensburg; two great-grandchildren: Tammy and Brian Chaudoin, both of Houston, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends. The remains were at the Cowherd and ! Parrott. Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted1 at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 1974 with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. H. Henderson, long a Mason, who died of pneumonia Sunday after a week's illness. Henderson, who was 81, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Rob Tucker, near Thurlow. Services were held in the Mt. Lebanon Church and burial was in the Curry cemetery. Services were conducted by the Reverend S. L. Pruitt, R. A. Slinker, D. L. Druien, and B. E. Settles. Besides Mrs. Tucker, he is survived by another sister, Mrs. Daisy Taylor, Louisville, and two brothers, Lathie Henderson, Thurlow, and Clyde Henderson, of Washington county.
