I just wanted to add to Karen's usual great work that I think the full name of James Henry Milby's dad was Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna Milby. About the time he was born (1873) The former Mexican dictator of that name was being allowed to return to Mexico from exile and would have been in the news. Not surprisingly, it is spelled in a variety of ways by census takers, etc. Most seemed to have just called him Antie or Antia. Anyway- that is my theory. ----- Original Message ----- From: <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> To: <KYGREEN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, April 29, 2008 12:15 AM Subject: [KYGREEN] James Henry MILBY Obit 1944 > Father: Antia Antonio La Pas De Santa Milby (9 Aug 1873 - 25 Nov 1957) > Mother: Katie Victoria Marcum (1884 - 15 Mar 1924) > > 1910 Green Co. He was always kind and patient, and had a great desire to get well and be with his family and friends, but would always say that he was ready! to go and point back to a time and place when a Young boy, that Christ came into his heart and life and gave him a great experience which made him ready for this hour. He is now on the other side with the many friends and loved ones, who welcomed him into his eternal home. He was a good husband, a good father, and a good friend, and how we shall miss him, but on the shores of the eternal city he now watches and waits for the loved ones he left behind.
