Daughter of the late Rudy J. Kidwell and Troy Palace Davis Kidwell Judd Perkins, she was born on April 6, 1917, in Green County, Ky. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a homemaker. She was married to Ruel Thomas Judd on Dec. 9, 1939. He preceded her in death on July 31, 1991. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Nadine and Wallace White of Greensburg, Ky.; a daughter-in-law, Donna Judd of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren and their spouses, Gary and Linda White of Eaton, Ohio, Amy and Joe Kibe of Pennsylvania, Stephanie and Mike Toy of Paris, Ky., Tonia and Dan Batts of Tennessee and Tammie Judd of Pennsylvania; four great-grandchildren, Reece White and Megan White, both of Ohio, Chelsie Toy of Paris and Kaitlyn Kibe of Pennsylvania; and three half-sisters, Olga Ennis of Louisville, Ky., Eugenia Simpson of Greensb! urg and Agnes Hamlett of Florida. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Justin R. Judd; a sister, Elizabeth Kidwell Gentry; and three half-brothers, Raymond T. Judd, Herman Dale Judd and A.D. Judd. Funeral was Saturday, Jan. 19 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Bros. Garnett Wayne Davis and Ivan Jones officiated. Burial was in Macedonia Cemetery. He had been under a doctor's care for some time. A Methodist minister, he and his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Poynter Salmon, had been a team that has done much singing and preaching the gospel and had visited Green County on several occasions. A son of the late H. R. Salmon and Mrs. Lillie Yates Salmon, he was a native of Metcalfe County. Besides his wife he is survived by his mother; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Harris of Cork; Mrs. Ruby Bunch and Mrs. Katherine Green, Barren County, and a brother, Rev. John Salmon. A Thompson in the Brush Creek section near Liberty Baptist Church. Straley was crop dusting when his light plane struck a tree, crashing nose-first into the ground and flopping over. It Immediately caught fire. Straley's body, badly mangled was burned beyond recognition when the gasoline tank and the chemical he was using exploded. Surviving are his mother, Mrs Ruby Hill Straley, Mount Sherman his father, W. L. Straley, Hodgenville; his stepmother; a half-brother W. L. Straley, Jr., Campbellsville, and his grandfathers, John Straley, Louisville, and Jesse Hill, Mount Sherman. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 15 at the Mt. Sherman Holiness Church. Services were conducted by Rev. W A. Blevins, Lebanon, and Rev. Rex Garr, Shepherdsville. She was born March 11, 1920, the daughter of Major and Nora Skaggs and joined the Liberty Church early in life. Her mother died when she was an infant and she was cared for by her grandmother. Later she was taken to an orphan's home. Fourteen years ago her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Skaggs took her into their home where she remained until her death. Mr. Sharp, who lived at Black Gnat, on route four, died of a heart attack on Friday, November 6th at 18:30 a. .m. at his home. Born March 12, 1884 in Green County, he was the son of Elmore Sharp and Rosa Black Sharp. She was united in marriage to Elijah D. Spillman, Feb 1910. He preceded her in death 12 years ago. Surviving are: Mrs. Walter Jones, Greensburg; Mrs. Jasper Russell, Cecilia, Ky.; one sister, Mrs. W. U. Moss, Greensburg, and 1 brother, Edgar Webb, Greensburg, and four grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p. m. Thursday at Greensburg Baptist Church by Rev. V. A. Jones and Rev. E. S.
