Daughter of Thomas H. Wilcoxson of Greensburg, and Clarice Warf Merritt of Louisville, she was born on Oct. 15, 1964 in Green County, Ky., and was a member of Summershade United Methodist Church. Other survivors include three daughters, Miranda Matney, Cherita, Matney and Casey Matney, all of Somerset; her step-mother, Geneva Wilcoxson of Greensburg; three step-brothers and five step-sisters, Larry Lobb, Mark Lobb, Dana Smith, Linda Rogers, Debbie Shelton, Freda Jeffries and Ramona Simpson; and one half-brother, Charles Wilcoxson. She was preceded in death by one brother, Cameron Wilcoxson. Funeral was at 10 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 6 at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, with burial in Summershade Cemetery. The Rev. Rodney Smith officiated. Pallbearers were Raymond Simpson, Jerry Wilcoxson, Brian Burris, Keith Warf, Larry Lobb, Ronnie Smith, James Darnell and Chris Wilcoxson. Obituaries of Green Co. According to my records, Ida Cantrell was married 1st to Everett Leslie Scott (29 Nov 1884 - 7 Apr 1910). Everett is the son of James Lewis Scott and Rebecca Ellen Whitlow. Everett and Ida had 1 child, Erwin Moss Scott (28 Nov 1906 - 17 Jun 1977). After Everett passed away, Ida married Alexander Jefferson Scott (22 Sep 1882 - 19 Apr 1958). Alex is the son of Robert Scott and Mary E. Osborne. Alex and Ida had one child: Rollan Scott (16 Nov 1912 - 12 Sep 1977). Reeves, Versailles, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Ray Reeves and Rosa Mae Roberts Reeves, was born on May 1, 1951 in Taylor County. He joined the Lord on Thursday, February 28 in Versailles. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Versailles and served as president of the Men's Club there. After graduating from Campbellsville College, he made a career with Kentucky Farm Bureau. He began his career working in Taylor County while his father was the agency manager. He was then made the youngest agency manager in Kentucky and given the Woodford County Farm Bureau office in 1973. During his tenure at Kentucky Farm Bureau, he received many awards. He was a board member of the Woodford County Parks and Recreation for 24 years, a board member of the Woodford County Country Club, coached Little League for a number of years, played softball on several Central Kentucky teams, was an avid golfer, fisherman, traveler, and UK ! fan. He united in marriage to Linda Fryman. Besides his wife, Linda Reeves, Versailles, he is survived by two daughters and one son, Jennifer Perkins & husband Wesley, Annie Branstetter & husband Kevin, and Brian Courtney; two grandchildren, Kolton Perkins and Aubrey Rae Perkins; one brother and one sister, Charles Michael Reeves & wife Sue and Nelda Hogan & husband Dr. Dan Hogan; and several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. Graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Brookside Cemetery in Campbellsville. A memorial service was held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 2 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Versailles. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville was in charge of local arrangements. Pallbearers: Dave Burke, Ken Craig, Tommy Jones, Courtney Roberts, Joe Wallen, Mike Wallen, Steve Wallen, and John Wood. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mannsville United Methodist Church. She united in marriage to George B. Cox, who preceded her in death on May 8, 1988. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Carlton Cox on April 13, 1970 and Dwight Cox in infancy. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Phyllis Cox, Campbellsville; two granddaughters, Katrine Rucker and husband Steve, Murfreesboro, TN, and Tara Rutherford and husband Andy, Winter Park, FL; three great-grandchildren, Candice Rucker, Murfreesboro, TN, and Steve Rutherford and Brianna Rutherford, both of Winter Park, FL; and several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbel! lsville by Rev. Richard Lowe. Burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a. m. Tuesday, December 7 at the Summershade Methodist church and burial was in the Summershade cemetery. Reverend Claude Squires conducted the services with the assistance of Reverend Taft Thrasher, Reverend Risen and Reverend Lee. She professed faith in Christ and joined the Summershade Methodist church in 1891. In 1897 she married Mr. H. C. Squires who preceded her in death. Surviving are one sister. Mrs. Allen Squires, three nephews, Lester, Ammon and Garlan Squires. and one niece, Mrs. Bill Mudd. Pallbearers were Lucian Squires, Ernest Squires. They were married April 19, 1908 by Josie's father, Lewis Chatham Warren AKA Preacher Patty Warren Death certificate no. 29648 Volume 69 Age at Death 83 In the 1910 LaRue Census John T. Warren was head of household 133. He was 24 years old and his wife, Josie, was 18. They had one child; Elsie A., age 11/12 years. In the 1920 LaRue Census, Otter Precinct, Tom Wes and Jossie are living near Pleasant Ridge Church with their 3 oldest children. Tom was head of household 175. He was 34 years old. Jossie was 25. The children were: Elsie A., 11; Pansy P., 8; and Herbert W., age 3 years, 9 months. In the 1930 LaRue County Census, Buffalo distr, Tom Warren was family 12.
