She was born January 16, 1924, to the late Horace Robert (Buck) and Icy Pearl Thornton in Green County. She was 74 years, three months, two weeks and seven days of age. She professed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Jacob Grove Baptist Church where she was a faithful member until her health failed. She is survived by three sisters: Margie Mitchell, Mary Miller, of Greensburg, and Nora Thornton of Indianapolis, Indiana; one brother, James (Mann) Thornton of Greensburg; three aunts and one uncle, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Her father, mother and two brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Monday, May 11, at the Jacob Grove Baptist Church with burial in the Green County Memory Gardens. Rev. Walter Johnson officiated over the service with music provided by the church choir. Pallbearers were Tyrone Miller, Greg Thornton, Reginal Miller, Donnie William! s, Junior Barnett and Billy Mitchell. Flower girls were Bridgett Miller, Pam Miller, Elmira Thornton, Tracy Thornton, Candace Thornton, Precilla Thornton and Kay Calhoun. The Warren F. He was 82 years, eight months and 17 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He united in marriage to Miss Lillie Rose Martin on July 2, 1939, who survives. To this union were born two sons and three daughters: Delbert Underwood, Shelby Underwood and Mary Ella Underwood, all of Greensburg. He was preceded in death by Emma Price on March 21, 1982, and Delores Underwood in 1953. He is also survived by two daughters-in-law and one son-in-law: Marsha Underwood, Christine Underwood and Curtis Price, all of Greensburg; one granddaughter: Martha Lou Price of Greensburg; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Marshall Underwood, Lilburn Underwood; one sister: Lillie! Bennett; and two grandsons: Roger Dale Price and Curtis Alvin Price, Jr. The funeral services for Mr. Edwin Underwood were conducted Saturday, August 1, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Green County Memory Gardens. Tucker had been employed on the Horse Cave tobacco market and had worked there that day. He was the son of Durwood Tucker and the late Mrs. Cecilia Curry Tucker and was born in Green Co. 13 Dec 1927. He was a member of Trammell Creek Baptist Church. Rev. V. A. Jones and Rev. Harold L. Neulon were in charge of the services. Burial was in the Greensburg Cemetery. The daughter of the late Captain W. F. Gorin and Mrs. Elizabeth Jameson Gorin, she was born in Green County, January 20, 1868. She professed faith in Christ early in life and united with the Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she remained a member until death. She was united in marriage to Daniel Porter Turner in 1884. He preceded her in death August 4, 1944. To this union three daughters and four sons were born. Two children, Marie and Morris Turner preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters. Mrs. Gertrude Marshall, Minneola, Kansas, Mrs. Lucy Hicks, Greensburg; three sons, Harry, Milton and Woodson Turner, Greensburg; one sister, Mrs. J. J.
