I understand his wife to be Martha (Crenshaw or Oakes). Their children are listed as William, James M., Robert, Martha, George, and Henry. I have found a Robert H. Hicks (23) household with Martha (50), Martha (19), Geo. W. (17), and Henry (14) in Hardin County, KY 1850 Census. Is this the same family? My GGgrandfather is George W. Hicks. I am trying to determine if Hasten Hicks is the father of George W. Hicks. I am willing to share any information that I have with others researching this Hicks family.
