About 1921 he married Rachel DUVALL (b. 10/4/1896 - d. 12/31/1975) d/o of Sam DUVALL. They had seven children: Maude (10/3/1913) Georgia (7/17/1915) Magdaline (2/11/1921) Ella Rose (1/1/1923) Everett (3/23/1927) Margaret (4/20/1930) Julian (1/3/1934) He is buried in Sanders Cemetery in Leitchfield. The 1930 Census shows the family living in District 6 of Grayson County, Kentucky on Highway 60 (Leitchfield-Brownsville Rd). This states he and his mother were born in Kentucky and his father was born in Indiana. The 1920 Census shows the family living in the North Leitchfield Precinct. This census states that he, his mother and his father were all born in Kentucky. I thought I had found him in the 1910 Census listed only as E.S. West age 19 born in May in Fleming County, Kentucky but this turned out the be an Elmer Stone West. Other than finding his WWI Registration Card I have not been able to find any information earlier than the 1920 Census. Any help in getting past this roadblock would be appreciated.
