I am interested in most things Grayson County. My primary family are Mattingly but there are many others. My gt gt grandparents were William Robert Mattingly and Rosa Esther Duncan and they migrated to Alabama in 1909 and settled on land granted by the Illinois Railroad. Some of my connecting families from Grayson are: Gaither, Arms/Armes, Conklin, Fraize/Fraze, Beatty, Smith, Kelly/Kelley, McClure, Pryor, Taylor, Campbell, Probus, Critchlow, and so many others it's difficult to mention them all.
